SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical construction works on a large-scale industrial/data centre project in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all electrical aspects of the project, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering, procurement, and construction teams. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems, project management experience, and a proven track record in delivering complex projects safely, on time, and to budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and management of all electrical construction activities on site.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of LV, MV, HV, UPS, and critical power systems.
  • Coordinate electrical design, procurement, and construction with engineering and procurement teams.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, progress reports, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor budgets, cost control, and resource allocation for the electrical scope.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and schedule risks.
  • Report project progress and key updates to stakeholders and senior management.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects, preferably in data centre, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
  • Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LV, MV, HV systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or similar) is an advantage.
  • EU citizenship or the right to work in Sweden.
