We are hiring Senior Backend Developer (Java)for the position based in Stockholm, Sweden (Onsite).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer responsible for building future-oriented solutions for operational traffic communication. This includes systems for real-time vehicle positioning, station information, and timetable data.

Required Experience/Competences:

  • 5+ years of experience with modern Java.
  • Strong background in system integration and real-time data flows.
  • Proven experience connecting multiple systems and data sources.
  • Hands-on experience with caching solutions to reduce database load.
  • Understanding of high-performance data models, large datasets, and low-latency data handling.
  • Experience working with cloud environments and Kubernetes.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in Experience with observability and monitoring solutions for real-time applications.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
