We're building a specialist team to support an industry-leading global enterprise as they scale their data capabilities.

This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional travel to the client site in Stockholm.

We are looking for seasoned Data Engineers to join the team on a either a contract or permanent basis.

The Opportunity:

You'll be joining a high-performing internal data team focused on solving complex challenges and shaping modern architectures that drive measurable business outcomes.

The role sits within a major digital transformation programme, helping the organisation build a scalable, high-quality data platform using modern cloud and open-source technologies.

You'll design, implement, and optimise data pipelines and architectures that enable analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

The Experience You Need:

To be successful in this role, you'll bring strong engineering fundamentals and a consultative mindset. We're looking for professionals with:

  • Proven experience building real-time and batch data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, and Airflow
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of data modelling and both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with infrastructure and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD)
  • Architectural awareness of scalable, secure, and high-performance data systems
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and contribute to solution design discussions
  • Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR)
