Anton Paar Nordic AB, a subsidiary of Anton Paar GmbH, is currently looking for a Service Technician (Field-Based) to strengthen our service team in Sweden. The ideal candidate will be located between Stockholm-Uppsala-Örebro region.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-end analytical instruments in a dynamic, international company known for its quality, innovation, and precision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform
    on-site maintenance, calibration, and repair
    of laboratory and process instruments across Sweden (primarily) and the Nordics (occasionally).
  • Provide
    remote support
    and troubleshooting assistance to customers.
  • Conduct
    in-house servicing
    of returned equipment.
  • Deliver
    customer training
    on instrument usage and basic maintenance.
  • Support
    sales of service contracts
    and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and document service activities using
    SAP CRM
    tools.
  • Collaborate across departments to support business goals.

Your profile:

  • Education or hands-on experience in
    engineering, electronics, or mechanics
    .
  • Proficient with
    measuring instruments, hand tools
    , and ideally
    network/IT systems
    .
  • Demonstrated
    problem-solving skills
    and the ability to work independently.
  • Prior experience in
    customer service or field support
    .
  • Strong
    communication skills
    in both
    Swedish and English
    .
  • High customer orientation with a
    structured and responsible
    work style.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Sweden (up to
    50–110 hotel nights/year
    ), with occasional trips to other Nordic countries.
  • Valid
    driver's license (B)
    and
    work permit
    for Sweden.
  • Experience with
    high-precision instruments
    is a strong plus.
