This Position reports to:

Procurement Team Lead

Do you want to play a key role in building a smarter, more sustainable global supply base for ABB?

We are now looking for a Global Supplier Base Manager to lead strategic Procurement & Logistics initiatives within ABB PA Process Control Platforms. In this role, you will shape the long-term direction of our supplier ecosystem — from qualification and optimization to supplier development, new tool deployment, continuous improvement and material compliance.

You will work in a truly global environment and collaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Legal, Sales and our supplier partners worldwide. Your work will directly contribute to secure, efficient and future-ready supply chains that enable ABB to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to our customers.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Analyse and take actions, that we have an optimized and qualified supply base.
  • Track qualification coverage.
  • Supervise and optimize the local PCP SAP systems in regards that they only contain qualified suppliers.
  • Identifying and driving continuous process improvement within Procurement & Logistics and with suppliers.
  • Work closely with the P&L category managers and sourcing specialist in selecting new suppliers.
  • Work closely to develop and implementing the sustainability strategy with the sustainability managers.

Qualifications For The Role

  • 5+ years of experience Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Above average skills in data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, Swedish and English.
  • Technical Proficiency – knowledge of ABB's business.
  • A curious, critical thinker, with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and efficient ways.
