do you have strong solidworks skills and a passion for mechanical engineering, and are you looking to take your first step into a hands-on engineering role?

teenage engineering is looking for a junior mechanical design engineer to work closely with a senior mechanical engineer. in this role, you will be working with prototyping, creating and finalizing detailed CAD models and mechanical drawings for a variety of projects.

we are looking for someone who has a true passion for mechanical engineering rather than design. you should enjoy working with complex mechanical solutions and be dedicated to tackling technical challenges.

to excel in this position, you should have an eye for detail and a strong commitment to approaching challenges with enthusiasm and precision. we are looking for someone who is interested in prototyping, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and is not afraid to take on the graveyard shift now and then.

key qualifications

  • engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar

  • hands-on experience with SolidWorks

  • genuine interest in 3D modeling, technology, and hardware development

  • proactive, curious, and eager to solve technical challenges

bonus points for

  • previous experience in mechanical design or CAD roles

  • familiarity with full product development cycles
