Employer Branding Specialist
At Saab, teamwork truly makes things fly. Join us and experience a supportive and innovative workplace where people come together to push boundaries and create solutions for a safer world.
Your role
As an Employer Branding Specialist at Saab's Business Area Aeronautics, you will play a key role in strengthening and showcasing our employer brand to attract the talent that will shape our future capabilities. Working closely with HR colleagues, communication experts, and other internal and external stakeholders, you will translate strategic direction into a concrete annual plan of employer branding activities that support talent attraction in line with our workforce needs.
You will take a hands-on role in coordinating, planning, and executing this plan — covering both external and internal initiatives such as career events, student collaborations, and employee engagement activities. Your focus will be on structured implementation and ensuring high-quality delivery of each initiative.
While your main emphasis will be on execution, you will also contribute valuable insights to the continued development and refinement of Saab's long-term employer branding direction. We believe you have a creative and proactive mindset, with a passion for finding new and innovative ways to connect with potential employees, especially experienced professionals. To support your work, you will collaborate with a network of dedicated Saab ambassadors — employees who, under your coordination and guidance, represent Saab's culture and values in the best possible way.
Key responsibilities
- Keeping our Employer Branding Strategy and annual activity plan up-to-date and aligned with our strategic workforce needs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute both on- and off-site employer branding activities, such as student fairs, hackathons, university lectures, and networking events.
- Organize and facilitate internal engagement events, such as all-employee birthday breakfasts and other initiatives that strengthen employee belonging and pride.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders—including Talent Acquisition, Communications, and Public Affairs—to align objectives and ensure consistency in our messaging and approach.
- Lead and support our Saab ambassador community, a group of engaged employees who represent our brand at various events.
- Act as the main point of contact for employer branding within Aeronautics, and between Aeronautics, other business areas, and Group HR—building relationships, sharing insights, and collaborating on specific events
Your profile
We are looking for a growth-minded professional who thrives at the center of a dynamic network of contacts, projects, and activities. You have strong drive and initiative, and can balance creativity with structure. You are a strategic thinker, but most of all a hands-on doer—down-to-earth, collaborative, and focused on delivering results.
To succeed in this role, you should enjoy being at the forefront, meeting people where they are, and creating meaningful connections. Strong organizational skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to inspire and engage others are essential. The role includes regular travel within Sweden.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Human Resources, behavioral science, marketing, communications or a related field — or equivalent experience from hospitality, events, or people-focused roles.
- Proven experience in employer branding, talent attraction, or recruitment-related activities, preferably within a large or technically oriented organization.
- Experience in planning and coordinating employer branding initiatives such as career fairs, student collaborations, and recruitment events.
- Good understanding of HR operations, workforce planning, and talent pipelines, with an interest in supporting technical and engineering recruitment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Skilled in building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with HR, communication, and business functions.
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented, with the ability to translate strategic direction into concrete plans and actions.
- Analytical mindset and ability to use data and feedback to evaluate and improve initiatives.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be part of
As our Employer Branding Specialist, you will join team People and Culture within Aeronautics Human Resources. Together we drive and coordinate HR strategies and processes, while maintaining and further developing specialist knowledge within key HR areas, such as learning, leadership, engagement, performance management, talent development – and, of course, employer branding.
Explore a wealth of possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart inventions, and grow beyond. This is a place for curious minds, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together, we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing our unique perspectives. Your part matters.
