We're seeking an
Interim Head of Data Platform
to lead a high-performing team of 8 data engineers for one of the
Nordics' leading streaming companies
. In this role, you'll drive the development of a robust data foundation, optimize data pipelines, and enable smarter, data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 6–8 skilled data engineers, fostering innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Design and execute a data engineering roadmap aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, actionable insights.
  • Oversee large-scale data integrations into a centralized data lake.
  • Manage external vendors and third-party integration partners effectively.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven hands-on experience in designing, building, and scaling modern data platforms.
  • Deep expertise in data architecture, data lakes, and modern engineering tools; experience with
    Databricks
    is highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
  • Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives to drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Experience in regulated industries, with a solid understanding of
    data governance and security
    best practices.

This is a contract-based position, based in Stockholm. Duration: Initially 3-6 months
