Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead and build collaborative and empowered teams, drawing on your hands-on technical expertise.
• Foster a supportive environment for growth and development, enabling your engineers to excel in both technical skills and leadership.
• Champion Nordnet's tech strategy, contributing to technical decision-making and ensuring we maintain technical excellence in all aspects of our team.
• Lead by example with your coding expertise, guiding your team through technical challenges and hands-on problem-solving.
• Contribute to the evolution of the engineering organization, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
• Collaborate closely with other Engineering Managers to share knowledge, solve challenges, and learn from each other.

You and your skills:

•  You have hands-on experience in software development and a strong technical background. You are comfortable reading code and when needed diving into technical discussions.
• You have experience leading and developing product development teams, empowering your engineers to grow in their roles.
• You are curious, open-minded, and always eager to learn, seeing challenges as opportunities to grow and improve.
• You lead with empathy, transparency, and trust, creating an environment where your team feels supported and motivated.
• You are a change leader, brave in pushing through friction and driving technical innovation.
• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
