The Role

We're looking for a skilled
Cyber Security Consultant
with expertise in digital forensics to join our client's incident response team. In this role, you'll investigate security breaches, recover and analyze digital evidence, and provide clients with detailed findings and recommendations for improving their security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct digital forensic investigations on computers, mobile devices, and network systems
  • Preserve and analyse digital evidence while maintaining chain of custody
  • Recover deleted files and examine system logs to reconstruct security incidents
  • Prepare detailed forensic reports for clients and legal proceedings
  • Advise clients on incident response procedures and security improvements
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to determine the scope and impact of security incidents
  • Stay current with emerging threats, forensic tools, and investigative techniques

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and file systems
  • Proficiency with forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, Autopsy)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCIA, CEH, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile or network forensics
  • Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements for evidence handling
  • Experience working with law enforcement or legal teams
  • Familiarity with cloud forensics
