Assignment description:

About the mission

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will actively participate in both new development projects and improvements to existing equipment. Your responsibilities include developing production equipment and verification methods, as well as ensuring efficient production and delivery through necessary documentation.

Your duties will cover several phases, including:

  • Pre-studies, design work, verification and validation of production technology solutions.
  • Method development, concept selection and project work.

This also includes ongoing tasks such as:

  • Define preventive maintenance.
  • Produce manufacturing documentation.
  • Improve production equipment.
  • Develop work instructions.
  • Train production staff.
  • Drive continuous improvements.

Your background

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of documented experience in the development of production equipment, including the design of automated equipment (e.g. microassembly).
  • Experience with leak testing equipment, vision systems, sensor control and bonding processes is an asset.
  • At least 3 years of experience in 3D modeling in SolidWorks.
  • Good knowledge of 2D modeling with AutoCAD or DraftSight.
  • Experience with risk analyses such as P-FMEA.
  • Knowledge of machine safety and the CE directive is a plus.
  • Experience in capacity calculations, balancing and investment calculations.
  • Experience in commissioning and validation of production equipment.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The ability to analyze, prioritize and create order in complex assignments is crucial for success in the role.
