In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Drive Developer Experience for a community of 2500+ engineers, supporting thousands of builds daily—and scaling for more.
• Lead technical direction across multiple engineering teams focused on CI/CD orchestration, source control systems, and collaboration tools.
• Design and maintain scalable CICD practices, ensuring performance, security, and compliance across the development lifecycle.
• Champion engineering excellence, embedding quality engineering principles, continuous improvement, and innovation into everything we build.
• Lead migration efforts from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
• Mentor and guide teams in source control best practices, code quality, and platform usage—fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

What is needed in this role:

• Several years of experience in software engineering and modern development practices, including languages such as TypeScript, Java, and Python.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience—what matters most is your impact and expertise.
• Deep expertise in GitHub (Actions, repositories, integrations).
• Strong understanding of Developer Experience (DevEx) and how to create frictionless development experiences.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automation workflows.
• Ability to see the big picture—from code to deployment—and optimize every step.
• A growth mindset and strong leadership skills—able to mentor, inspire, and foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical ideas into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
