Coalesce Management Consultancy (CMC) have a consulting assignment available for an experienced Diagnostics Implementation Engineer – Electric Vehicles to work on a project we have in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Currently, we're looking for an experienced Diagnostics Implementation Engineer – Electric Vehicles to help us provide solutions on a project based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

You'll be involved in:

  • Implementing and validating diagnostics functionality across battery and electric motor systems.
  • Performing parameter setting, data analysis, and diagnostics calibration to ensure correct system behaviour.
  • Collaborating closely with developers and system engineers to refine diagnostics logic and improve reliability.
  • Using Python for test automation and diagnostic verification activities.
  • Supporting fault validation, data logging, and diagnostic test planning.

In order to suit the project requirements, you must have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Automotive Systems Diagnostics, ideally within Electric Vehicle (EV) environments.
  • Solid understanding of battery systems, electric motors, and control mechanisms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Python for diagnostics and test automation.
  • Understanding of C language beneficial but not essential.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems or control logic is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with developers and technicians.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Gothenburg (full-time presence preferred) with some flexibility.
