Purpose Of The Role
The Performance Evaluation Graduate Scientist Is Responsible For

  • Organsising and/or performing internal and external clinical, consumer and sensory studies to support R&D category teams (Nutritional Products, Skincare and Color formulation)
  • Analyse data and form scientifically valid conclusions from studies
  • Communicate results of tests and research to stakeholders
  • Adhere to team quality processes and procedures
  • Investigate and create novel approaches to innovative claims

What will you do?
Coordinate and Deliver Clinical, Sensory and Consumer projects

  • Work with Formulation Chemists and Claims scientists, recommend optimum methodologies available to meet project objectives within cost, timing and resources available.
  • Prepare Study documentation
  • Administer and conduct specific standard studies according to established methods and study protocols
  • Analyse and statistically interpret data and form scientifically valid conclusions from studies
  • Quality Control of test data and documentation
  • Schedule external studies with external CROs/Agencies, receive data and reports and process according to established procedures
  • Create and distribute standard study reports to Sponsor within agreed timelines
  • Assist in the translation of scientific data into consumer-relevant claims.
  • Present project and study findings to team members and key stakeholders as appropriate

Research and Innovation

  • Generate, share and communicate insights from scientific conferences, events, competitor analysis and research investigation outputs internally to team or to a wider internal audience.
  • Support Oriflame's innovation processes and workshops. Propose innovative ideas and new test method investigation in line with Oriflame's strategy.

Quality and Administration

  • Follow team Quality processes and procedures, supporting other team members to deliver processes to required timelines.
  • Design standard study analysis templates for in-house methods
  • Ensure data generated and measurements performed are in line with validated methods and standard procedures in place in Ori-Derm.
  • Update existing Work Instructions/ Test Methods / Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Apply continuous improvement approach, update and improve standard documentation and arrange issue once approval obtained.
  • Support team administration duties

Your Background And Your Qualifications

  • BSc. in Biological Science, Pharmaceutical Science or Cosmetic Science or in an appropriate field
  • Knowledge in a broad range of clinical and sensory techniques
  • Experience with statistics preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills; written and verbal
