It's an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our journey while pursuing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. The Wi-Fi IC Group is looking to strengthen our team with experienced and talented engineer. As a senior member of the IC Design team you will be responsible for digital IC design, integration and verification, developing Nordic Semiconductor´s first generation of world-leading ultra-low power Wi-Fi device.

Key responsibilities

  • Development of Wi-Fi products, including microcontrollers and connectivity
  • Digital IC design and verification
  • SoC integration and verification
  • Proficiency in low power design
  • ASIC/FPGA synthesis
  • Specification work on sub modules or at chip level
  • Technical guidance/mentoring for colleagues

Qualification and skills

  • BSc/MSc in Electronics Engineering or similar
  • 15+ years experience in digital IC design, verification, synthesis, static timing analysis or pre-silicon prototyping
  • Solid understanding of RTL design and verification principles, SoC implementation, synthesis and STA.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work in a global matrix organization, navigating at all levels within the organization and balancing global vs. local needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
