Your Role and Responsibilities

At ABB Large Motors and Generators, we are looking for a Delivery Project Manager to take the lead on exciting, customer-specific projects – from order to delivery. This is your opportunity to join a global leader with a strong local presence in Västerås, where every project is unique and every day brings new challenges.

In this role, you'll guide a committed and skilled project team, working closely with both customers and internal departments. Your main mission? To ensure seamless execution, top-quality service, and satisfied customers – every step of the way. With full ownership of the project lifecycle, you will handle both technical and commercial aspects, all while inspiring your team and fostering strong client relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading end-to-end project execution – from customer order to final delivery
• Coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, production, and testing
• Managing technical and commercial aspects to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget compliance
• Building strong relationships with customers by delivering professional and proactive communication

Qualifications for the role

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• A master's degree in engineering or a relevant technical field
• Experience in project management – ideally 2+ years in a similar role, but we also welcome recent graduates who are eager to grow into the position
• Meritorious experience from working with electric machines or in a production environment
• A proactive, positive, and solution-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in both people and technology
• Strong skills in identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken

ABB Motion High Power (MOHP) Division offers a comprehensive product portfolio of large AC motors and generators. From general purpose to highly customized designs, synchronous motors provide high efficiency, reliability and availability across all major industries and applications, including some in the toughest and most demanding environments. The division also has a long track record of designing and building generators for wide range of industries, including power generation, marine, oil and gas, mining, and data centers.
