Quantexa Developer

Join Sii Sweden as a Quantexa Developer and contribute to the development of advanced data-driven solutions supporting financial crime prevention and transaction monitoring. You will design and maintain Quantexa and Spark-based applications that identify suspicious activities and potential money laundering patterns within large-scale financial data environments.

This is a hands-on role combining data engineering, Quantexa development, and system stability responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on critical systems that enhance transparency and trust in financial operations.

Your tasks

• Drive release management and deployment activities
• Design, build, and maintain Quantexa and data applications using the Spark Framework
• Contribute to agile development processes and continuous improvement
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions
• Provide production support, managing escalations and ensuring system stability

Requirements

• Quantexa Certification
• Proven experience implementing Quantexa cross-border transaction monitoring use cases for AML/financial crime prevention
• Strong programming skills in Scala
• Solid experience with Apache Spark and Hadoop ecosystem, as well as Unix shell scripting, SQL, and version control tools (GIT)
• Good understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
