As
Key Account Manager
for the
Nordics
, and reporting directly to the Nordic Sales Leader, you will oversee both existing main customers and new prospecting customers in Sweden and Nordic for Modern Mass Market. As such, you will:
- Identify customer needs and opportunities based on a clear analysis of the market & customer prepared by Trade Marketing and Category Management.
- Negotiate with local buyers for product ranges (to obtain new listings and develop existing product selections) within defined limits and in line with the European pricing & sales policy and establish commercial agreements.
- Optimize overall working relationships and develop internal contacts with other departments (e.g. Finance, warehouse, logistics);
- Develop product categories together with Trade Marketing Manager & the Category Manager.
- Analyze every aspect of best and worst sellers and ensure that best sellers are used to their full potential; analyze previous season' sales and report on current product activities.
- Develop and manage, in collaboration with Marketing, tailor-made actions and promotions and set up a challenging promotional plan based on national marketing plans.
- Monitor customer budgets as Year End Rebate and COOP by the JDE Sales tools.
- Provide a forecast per customer, attend forecast meetings, and enter forecasts for promotions in JDE; Manage customer assortment through JDE;
- As product specialists, advise local buyers and buying groups about our assortments, market figures and trends, competitors, etc. and provide them with professional support on their category development.
- Gather information related to the customer reaction and our competitors; relay this information to your colleagues in other departments: be alert to changes in the local market and signals coming from end users, customers, buyers and competitor activities.
What we're looking for in you:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a KAM
- E- commerce experience
- Business School or equivalent education
- High proficiency in English. Proficiency in any Nordic language will be consider an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Well-developed external network / network builder
- Excellent presentation skills

- Strategic and tactical capabilities
- Good planning and deadline management
- Economic and financial understanding
- Strong negotiation skills
