About the job

You partner with business and HR stakeholders as the primary point of contact for Mining People Analytics. You ensure business priorities are reflected in the analytics agenda and help drive adoption of data-driven solutions. Your work is hands-on and strategic, combining technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement.

Your responsibilities include:

• Being a member of Mining HR Council and Group People Analytics Forum of Expertise.
• Translating business challenges into analytics projects and actionable insights.
• Supporting your senior stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis.
• Delivering dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools.
• Identifying and prototyping high-impact use cases.
• Supporting the rollout of the People Analytics platform and ensuring Mining-specific requirements are met.
• Promoting data literacy and analytics-driven culture.
• Contributing to governance, data quality, and compliance efforts (GDPR, data ownership).
• Collaborating across the organization to share best practices and resources.

The location for this position is in Stockholm with flexibility for hybrid work. You report to the VP HR Mining and collaborate closely with Head of People Analytics at Sandvik Group.

Your profile
You have experience in HR analytics or a related field, along with a few years of experience in similar roles. You're skilled in translating business needs into analytics requirements as a true partner to the business, and familiar with tools like Power BI. You understand data governance and compliance in HR and have a strong technical foundation to manage data and create reports independently. A relevant academic background is expected, and you communicate fluently in English.

You're service-minded, data-driven, and collaborative, thriving in an expert role. You communicate complex data in a clear, engaging way and feel comfortable presenting and educating large groups.
