We are looking for an Engineering Manager who will be responsible for a team that focuses on developing sound‑related tooling for plugins and integrations within video‑editing environments. The team operates efficiently with a wide scope, serving several different integration points. To succeed, you will need a strong technical foundation and solid leadership skills to guide the team through organizational changes and ensure important deliveries during.

How You Will Make An Impact
As an Engineering Manager, you will be a key part of the team's leadership and ultimately responsible for the technical roadmap, delivery outcomes, and team performance. Your core responsibility is to ensure the team's ability to deliver technically robust solutions that support both product goals and a sustainable technical platform. You will manage 5–8 developers, support their growth, and help the team continuously improve both its processes and the product it builds.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical strategy and roadmap for the team, applying effective software development practices and guiding the team in producing well‑architected, high‑quality code.
  • Drive advancements in frontend architecture, engineering excellence, and strategic technical decision‑making.
  • Empower the team to focus on the right problems, and work closely with Product to pave the way for achieving goals.
  • Develop engineers through clear feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.

Requirements

  • A solid technical background (5+ years) as an engineer working with modern web technologies (e.g., React, , , Go, or similar).
  • 3+ years of experience in a formal leadership role, such as Engineering Manager, Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, or similar.
  • Thorough understanding of and experience leading agile teams.
  • Ability to address communication challenges, performance issues, interpersonal dynamics, and ownership gaps with empathy and transparency.
  • Passion for collaboration, great product development, and making technology choices aligned with product goals.
  • Professional working proficiency in English (Swedish is not required).
