Are you our new Group Data Protection Officer (Group DPO)?
The Group Data Protection Officer is responsible for monitoring compliance with data protection obligations, informing the organization of these obligations and acting as a contact point for data subjects and the relevant supervisory authority. The Group DPO is required to have excellent knowledge in both national and European data protection and privacy legislations and be familiar with the key privacy processes (such as the records of processing activities and data subject rights process). You must be able to understand how to work with privacy matters in an international environment, be independent and have a good understanding on how to communicate and report on issues that may arise within the organization.
You will also contribute to the Group Compliance risk-based mapping and plan and the Group Compliance quarterly report, both from a privacy perspective but also contribute to the development of such processes within the organization from an overall perspective.
What will you do:
- Be responsible for the overview of data protection risks within the Group.
- Be the contact point between the company and the Data Protection Authority.
- Be the contact point for data subjects.
- Drafting and maintaining the Group Compliance framework in relation to Data Protection.
- Regularly support to the local Intrum entities in various matters
What we're looking for:
- Very good skills in national and European data protection legislations
- Very good skills in key data protection processes
- Contribute with an analytical mindset to the ongoing work and development of the Group Compliance function
- Very good oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English
- Proactive personality, able to work independently and take own initiatives
- Able to process and to communicate complex information, identifying key aspects and suggesting alternative solutions in order to optimize results
- Good knowledge about the financial sector.
