About The Team
Our Oil & Gas and Complex Projects Quality team ensures compliance with quality requirements from proposal stage through execution and final handover to clients. We manage project quality, inspection activities, and coordinate with classification societies. The team is part of Siemens Energy's global Quality organization, based in Finspång.

About The Position
As a
Quality Inspector / Engineer
, you will

• Plan and perform inspections at Siemens Energy and supplier sites.
• Follow up on inspection results and actively resolve open issues.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
• When required, act as Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM).
• Be based primarily in Finspång, with travel across Sweden and Europe (approx. 60% of the time).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (Swedish is an advantage).
• Highly organized and structured approach to work.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or extensive experience in inspection.
• Knowledge of PED, ASME, and/or structural design standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong administrative skills.

Preferred Skills

• Additional language skills.
• Certifications related to PED, ASME, AWS, etc.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering/equipment.
• Experience with SAP and PLM2020.

Personal Characteristics

• Structured, self-motivated, and flexible.
• Willingness to travel outside regular working hours when required.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of inspection experience.
