Are you ready to play a key role in Sol de Janeiro's continued growth in the Nordics? We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Key Account Manager to help strengthen our direct presence in the region, with a focus on our strategic retail partners, Kicks and Matas.

About the Role

As Key Account Manager Nordics, you will be at the heart of Sol de Janeiro's next chapter in the region. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a business in an exciting phase of growth, as we strengthen our direct, brand-driven approach in the Nordics. You will be instrumental in shaping how Sol de Janeiro is represented, perceived, and grown in the Nordic market.

You will be responsible for building and nurturing senior-level partnerships with two of our most important retail customers, Kicks and Matas. Your role will be both strategic and hands-on: you will develop and deliver ambitious three-year business plans, lead annual negotiations, and manage all aspects of the commercial relationship. You will ensure that our brand's vision is flawlessly executed in-store and online, from visual merchandising to trade marketing and promotional campaigns. In addition to your direct responsibility for Kicks and Matas, you will also oversee other key retailers in the Nordics, whose day-to-day management is led by our distributor, ensuring alignment with Sol de Janeiro's standards and objectives across the region.

As the first direct Sol de Janeiro employee in the Nordics, you will act as the key ambassador for the brand in the region. You will be based at the ICE Beauty Group office in Stockholm, with regular travel across the Nordics to meet customers and visit stores. You will work closely with colleagues at our Paris headquarters and across Europe, collaborating on best practices and cross-market initiatives.

The Future Nordic Team

As the business grows, we will contribute to recruiting and onboarding new team members, including a Marketing Manager and a Sales & Marketing Coordinator, helping to lay the foundation for a high-performing Nordic organization. While you will collaborate closely with future colleagues, this role does not include formal team leadership responsibilities. This is an opportunity to shape the local team and culture from the ground up, reporting directly to the Regional Director Europe and working closely with our distributor's office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver three-year commercial and budget plans for the Nordics, aligned with Sol de Janeiro's global objectives.
  • Lead annual negotiations and joint business planning with Kicks and Matas, establishing clear KPIs and monitoring performance.
  • Build and nurture senior-level relationships with key retail partners, acting as a trusted advisor and challenger to drive mutual growth.
  • Ensure the execution of brand strategy in-store and online, optimizing visual merchandising and trade marketing investments.
  • Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and international counterparts to share best practices and drive cross-market initiatives.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, customer meetings, and internal forums.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of future team members as the Nordic organization expands.
  • Oversee the Distributor's work with other retailers in the Nordics, ensuring consistent execution of Sol de Janeiro's brand standards.

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years' experience in key account management, sales, or commercial roles within beauty, personal care, or FMCG, ideally with experience managing major Nordic retailers such as Kicks and Matas.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering sales growth, managing complex negotiations, and building long-term partnerships with retail customers.
  • Experience in developing and executing joint business plans, promotional activities, and forecasting.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with the Nordic beauty retail landscape and an established network in the region.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is an advantage.
  • Passion for growth and challenges, with a natural ability to inspire and engage others through storytelling.
