Overview
As an Accounting Assistant, you will play an important role in our finance department. The position is based at our office in Stockholm or Växjö and is a fixed-term employment for one year, with the possibility of extension. You will work with a variety of tasks within accounting and finance, where accuracy and responsibility are essential.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Registering and posting transactions
• Managing ongoing bookkeeping of income and expenses
• Reconciling accounts and vouchers
• Checking invoices and payments
• Following up on unpaid invoices and sending reminders
• Preparing simple financial reports and supporting documentation
• Contributing data to monthly and annual financial statements
• Following up with customers and suppliers on financial matters
• Using financial systems and accounting software
• Assisting in the preparation of annual reports and tax returns
• Calculating and paying salaries to employees
• Handling tax deductions, pension payments, and other payroll-related tasks
• Managing various financial tasks that arise in daily work
• Supporting colleagues in the finance department
• Performing ad hoc tasks as they arise in daily work

About You
We are looking for someone with education in finance or accounting and preferably some years of experience in similar tasks. You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a strong attention to detail. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

Good knowledge and education in bookkeeping and accounting

• Experience working with financial systems and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• A positive attitude and a willingness to support the team
• Good communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written
• Good oral and written proficiency in Swedish and English
