VP, Channel Marketing

Right now, we need to strengthen our Channel Marketing team with a VP who will focus on establishing a scalable, globally consistent but locally relevant channel specific marketing strategy whilst rolling their sleeves up to implement their vision.
What you'll do:
Delivering on our ambition by creating unforgettable experiences that connect people to the power of Marshall, wherever they shop. To drive traffic, convert consumers, and maximise sell-through by delivering bold, brand-right channel experiences that are globally aligned, locally executed, and built to move product.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the Channel Marketing Function
- Establish a scalable, globally consistent but locally relevant channel specific marketing strategy.
- Create GTM frameworks, brand guidelines, fixture strategies, and retail marketing playbooks.
- Define and manage scalable solutions for multiple channels: CE, MI, Lifestyle, Mono-brand, Pure Players and B2B
- Oversee the planning and delivery of category and product storytelling retail assets.
Deliver Multi-Channel Go-To-Market Programs
- Lead global GTM planning for new product and category launches across Retail and Wholesale, Monobrand, Partner with Ecom, Regional and Local Sales Teams, Product, Creative, and Brand teams to ensure channel-ready assets and campaign alignment.
- Ensure sell-in and sell-thru strategies are defined and executed at each channel level.
- Coordinate with packaging teams to align unboxing and merchandising strategies.
- Own Tradeshow strategy and support execution in partnership with Central Marketing Functions and local market teams
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team that reflects Marshall's diverse consumer base.
- Foster strong collaboration with Sales, Product, Creative, Ecom, and Sustainability teams.
- Support channel marketing community (internal and third party/ agencies) across regions.
- Engage closely with regional leads to stay up to date with regional needs and focus areas as well as support and guide across all channel marketing areas.
- Be an inclusive leader who values different perspectives and builds a shared vision.
Drive Strategic Channel Experience Across Touchpoints
- Retail (DTC & SIS): Own the design store commercial approach (amps), Support regional key account planning , in-store activations, brand moments, and seasonal stories and product launches. Support Regions and local markets in creation of Field team support
- E-Commerce: Partner with eCommerce to integrate wholesale, distributors and partners in the consumer journey, launch plans, and loyalty integration
- Wholesale / B2B: Support sales planning and marketing for key accounts. Tailor solutions for partner-driven environments and coop marketing
- China/APAC Focus: Localised execution strategies tailored to specific markets like China, prioritising brand pop-ups, monobrand and regional activation formats.
- Training: Own Training for all product categories and channel
Create Frameworks for Global-Regional-Local Execution
- Build clear processes and toolkits for briefing, creation, production, and execution at all levels.
- Enable environmental solutions (retail, in-store) that are scalable, flexible, and sustainable.
- Lead the development of evergreen and launch-specific Storytelling concepts.
Foster Brand Authenticity and Storytelling
- Define and implement category and product storytelling frameworks—especially for iconic products like Amps and new product launches
- Oversee creation of branded content (video, music) for in-store/event use.
- Ensure the Marshall brand is experienced authentically in all retail environments.
Who we're looking for:
- Strategic GTM planning across global and local markets.
- Creative and production leadership in retail experience, fixture design, and omnichannel execution.
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of sell-in/sell-thru mechanics.
- Exceptional cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Have a strong passion for music, culture, creativity and a deep understanding of Marshall's heritage and audience.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
- Minimum 15+ years in senior retail or channel marketing roles with a global scope.
- Experience in consumer electronics, audio, fashion/lifestyle and music industry.
- Proven success building retail and channel marketing functions
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Ability to travel globally up to 30%.
