As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in guaranteeing the safety and compliance working with electrical- and installation components. You will conduct hands-on tests and in-depth analyses to ensure products meet national and international regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys both the practical application of electrical engineering principles and the meticulous documentation of their findings.
What You'll Do
- Hands-on Testing & Assessment: Execute practical tests and comprehensive safety assessments in laboratory environments, strictly adhering to regulatory requirements and established procedures.
- Data Analysis & Documentation: Continuously analyze and meticulously document the results of your tests, ensuring accuracy and clarity for reporting and certification purposes.
- Compliance Assurance: Verify that products consistently meet national and international safety requirements, contributing directly to product integrity and market acceptance.
- Fault Simulation & Analysis: Conduct theoretical and practical simulations of various fault conditions to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
- Report & Certification Preparation: Prepare detailed test reports and certifications, providing clear and concise summaries of findings for clients and regulatory bodies.
What You'll Bring
- Educational Background: An Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in related fields, demonstrating a practical application of electrical engineering principles.
- Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of electrical theory and fundamental electrical engineering concepts, coupled with basic skills in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Practical & Theoretical Mindset: You are equally adept and interested in performing hands-on tests as you are in thoroughly documenting the results.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in your approach, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate, and reliable results.
- Structured Work Approach: You maintain a clear, organized workflow, ensuring tasks are planned, prioritized, and executed with consistency and precision.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical information, both verbally and in written reports.
- An extra advantage is if you also have experience soldering.
