Senior Process Technology Manager, Cooking

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Process Technology Manager, Cooking to join our Fiberline team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating a team of engineers and their activities.
You will be based in Karlstad (Sweden).

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct engineering projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Resolve product issues related to design or production needs, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Contribute with deep knowledge in cooking processes and operations in challenging projects.
• Build and lead a global virtual team of specialized resources, and mentor and coach junior and mid-level process engineers and specialists to develop into senior-level contributors capable of supporting similar complex projects.
• Liaise with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss engineering specifications and procedures. Provide support for production technologies in various locations, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of engineering requirements and manage the workflow of the engineering department and subcontractors.
• Generate and support technology and operational standards, ensuring effective communication between locations.
• Support and collaborate with Product Management and R&D in the development of new products and process improvements, including feasibility studies.
• Actively challenge ideas and the status quo with respect to technology, manufacturing, and process capabilities.

Who is the candidate we are looking for

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong technical background and understanding of Cooking processes.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
• Excellent proficiency in English and Swedish, Finnish and Portuguese are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel as required.
