About the role

We're growing fast – and we're now looking for a sharp and driven Business Controller to join our Finance team at Mynt in Stockholm.

As Business Controller at Mynt, you'll play a key role in turning numbers into real impact. You'll drive financial reporting, analysis, and performance management across the company, working closely with our Head of Finance and leadership team to make sure every decision we take is smart, data-driven, and future-focused.

You'll love this role if you're analytical, structured, and not afraid to take ownership. You're as comfortable deep-diving into data as you are presenting insights to leadership, turning complex numbers into clear, actionable stories. You bring a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and you enjoy working in a dynamic scale-up where things move fast and collaboration is key.

You'll own our reporting and analytics end-to-end - from management reports and internal dashboards to board and investor materials. Your job is to make sure our numbers are accurate, our insights are sharp, and our growth decisions are grounded in data.

What you'll be up to

  • Own and develop Mynt's internal and external financial reporting, including management, board, and investor reports.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance analyses and KPIs.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Monitor key business drivers and proactively identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the company.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance and leadership teams to ensure high-quality financial data and reporting accuracy.
  • Continuously improve and automate financial tools, dashboards, and reporting routines.

What you bring to the table

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial Analysis, Management Consulting, or a similar role where you've worked closely with numbers and strategy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Hands-on and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools or SQL is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
