About the role

At Alfa Laval, our technologies aim to enhance sustainability in the existing industry through improved energy efficiency, reduced emissions, and waste heat recovery. The Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger is a significant technology that plays a crucial role in the ongoing energy transition. We are committed to our work and strive for continuous improvement.

In this role, you will be a part of the global Equipment Sales team, working alongside business developers and application experts. We offer Gasketed plate heat exchangers to customers in the Data center, HVAC, Industrial Refrigeration, and Manufacturing industries.

This position is based in Lund, Sweden, with an opportunity to travel 10-20 days per year.

Key responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will involve providing top-notch technical and commercial support to our sales companies, encompassing both day-to-day business activities and larger projects, with a particular focus on the Data centre sector. This includes hosting and participating in customer visits, as well as occasional travel to customer sites in collaboration with our sales teams. To excel in this position, close collaboration with internal departments, such as Business Development, R&D, Product Management, and Operations, is essential. Your role will also involve ensuring the competitiveness of our product offering and its presentation. Moreover, our team is accountable for training our sales force and partners in application, industry, and product knowledge, which will be an integral part of your job.

What you know

You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Previous experience in technical sales is beneficial. Knowledge of heat transfer and experience in a technical-commercial environment is preferred. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowing additional languages is an advantage.
