What You Will Do
As a experienced data solution professional at Valcon, you will:

• Be part of the digital advisory team in one of the fastest-growing consultancies in Europe
• Contribute to our exciting growth journey while contributing to our expanding presence in the Swedish market
• Work side by side with skilled and experienced colleagues in diverse and international teams, tackling challenges from digital strategies to IT implementations
• Solve complex problems for Swedish and international companies across industries, guiding them to unlock the full potential of their data
• Help clients become more data-driven, comply with laws and regulations regarding their data and help them get the most value out of their data

What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should be able to say yes to some or all of the following:

• 8 years of experience in data consulting or other relevant roles
• A relevant Master's degree
• A strong understanding of industry standards, best practices and emerging trends in data, such as data governance, engineering, AI, and machine learning
• Hands-on expertise in designing scalable, secure and high-performing data/technical solutions aligned with client needs
• Proficiency in leading-edge tools and platforms such as Databricks, Celonis, Microsoft Fabric and the broader Azure ecosystem specialising in data and AI solutions
• Experience in data architecture, including data modelling and warehousing
• A commercial mindset with a proven track record in uncovering growth opportunities, building strong client relationships and selling complex technical assignments
• A thoughtful approach to leadership with the ability to guide and mentor project teams effectively
• Relevant certifications in IT management, project management (e.g., PMP) and digital transformation (e.g., CDT). ITIL, Microsoft and Cloud are a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Swedish and English with the ability to translate technical concepts for a variety of stakeholders
