Test Engineer

We are currently facing exciting challenges, with more new components in the pipeline than ever before. To meet these demands, we are looking for a skilled and hands-on test engineer to join our team and help evaluate these components to ensure they meet the company's high standards.

The group, is responsible for the pump and dosing units within the dosing system. These components come with significant challenges – they must be robust enough to withstand freezing without damage. Although the components are sourced from suppliers, their development is a close collaboration between us and our partners. In addition to component ownership, we have overall system responsibility for the dosing system. This means we need a solid understanding of how the system is used and what requirements it must fulfill. We are constantly engaged across projects to stay updated on emerging issues and maintain strong cross-functional connections.

Within the team, you'll find committed and helpful colleagues, many with extensive experience in the field. You'll be part of a relatively small team with a broad scope of work. If you're missing specific knowledge, don't worry – we'll build that together. What matters most is your curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Your Responsibilities
As a test engineer, you'll be part of a small team focusing on testing individual components and complete systems. You will lead tests from planning to execution and provide feedback on results. Much of the work takes place in our new laboratory – a creative and innovative space that allows for hands-on problem-solving and deep understanding. You'll set up your own test rigs, run tests, and perform mechanical work. You'll also apply your analytical skills to interpret results and suggest improvements to both the product and the test methodology. The role requires attention to detail while maintaining a holistic perspective. If you're interested in vehicles, you'll also enjoy the connection to full-vehicle testing, as part of our validation occurs in-vehicle. You will build a broad cross-functional network, including colleagues from software, hardware, and aftermarket departments.

Your Profile
We're looking for someone who enjoys combining hands-on work with analysis – a practical person who wants to be an integral part of a team. You should be curious, eager to explore issues from different angles, and able to identify and understand deviations.Perhaps you are a design engineer seeking a more practical role but still want to influence the design process. Or maybe you're a rig technician aiming to develop your analytical capabilities and move closer to product development. What matters is that you're structured, methodical, and motivated to support development based on physical principles. Since the dosing system is a mechatronic system, we expect an interest in both control systems and mechanical design. Experience with Matlab, data analysis, design engineering, and aftermarket support is a plus. Because much of the work is collaborative, it's essential that you enjoy building and maintaining strong professional relationships. Fluency in both Swedish and English is required. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
