Lundhags is searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Product Developer to strengthening the team in Stockholm.
By utilizing over 90 years of craftsmanship from Jämtland, Sweden, Lundhags develops uncompromising, modern outdoor gear that endures for generations.
Lundhags produce Footwear, Apparel and Packs for Active outdoor life and has recently embarked on an exciting journey to strengthen the brand and it's product offer. If you are motivated by impeccable products, outdoor life and working in a forward leaning team this could be for you.
Lundhags is a part of Brav. Brav is a major player in the sports and outdoor industry and manages some of the most influential brands in the marketplace, including Swix, Toko, Lundhags, Ulvang, and Helsport. Brav has offices and own companies in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Lithuania, Japan and the United States. Our products are sold in more than 30 countries worldwide.
About the role
In this role you are managing Product-, and Material development for Lundhags Apparel. You work close with design and product management to build a consumer relevant, efficient and profitable product range. You are in daily contact with garment vendors and lead the work towards fabric suppliers. You report to the Sourcing Manager.
Your main areas of responsibility are:
- Product development of Lundhags Apparel in alignment with strategy and timelines
- Build and maintain a strong and successful relation to our vendors to achieve high quality products
- Own the relation with our fabric suppliers and drive material development
- Secure satisfying cost of product
- Secure product quality
Who you are:
- You live an active outdoor life often beyond the city boarders and know what is required from durable outdoor apparel
- You are well organized and proactive
- You are solution oriented and brings an energizing and positive mindset to the team.
- You are self propelled with strong ownership of your tasks
- You have deep knowledge of the product development process of Apparel products
- You have high standards
- You have good knowledge of product cost and have good track record of price negotiations
- You have good knowledge of functional materials for outdoor use
- You are motivated by driving change
Requested experiences
- A bachelor degree in relevant area ( Textile/Fashion business-, engineering-, design or similar)
- Min 5 years of Product development of high quality garments, Experience from developing performance products highly meriting.
- A good understanding for what makes outdoor gear great through previous work or passion
- Very good communication skills in English
- Experienced in digital tools as Microsoft office and PLM
