Senior Social Media Manager

Bitrefill is remote-first, and this is a full-time position.

We're looking for a seasoned Social Media Manager to lead Bitrefill's social media presence across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for a creative and strategic professional who can not only engage with our community but also drive the overall tone and voice of our brand.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Bitrefill's goals.
  
• Own a cohesive content calendar from planning to publishing.
  
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content across platforms like X/Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, and emerging social channels.
  
• Monitor social trends and conversations to keep Bitrefill at the forefront of industry discussions.
  
• Engage directly with our community, managing responses and building relationships with users.
  
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and growth.
  
• Lead experimentation and measurement in regards to content, cadence, community growth, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Be prepared to handle any social media crises or PR issues that might arise, ensuring that Bitrefill's reputation remains positive and professional.
• Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and product launches.

• 5+ years of proven experience in managing social media for a brand within the crypto or fintech space.
  
• Proven track record of creating content that performs. You understand what makes people stop scrolling, engage, and share.
  
• Strong creative skills and a keen sense of the latest social media trends. You live and breathe social media.
  
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone across platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
  
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Natural storytelling ability.
  
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a full-remote setting.
  
• Strong sense of humor, irreverent energy and the ability to bring fun, engaging energy to the brand's voice.

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with analytics tools to measure social media performance and derive actionable insights.

• Some experience with basic design tools (like Canva or Adobe Spark) and AI to create visually appealing posts.

• Comfortable hosting AMAs and X Spaces as well as speaking live at conferences or meet-ups, both on your own and with partners

• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity, seeing it as a partner that amplifies your expertise, not a replacement for strategic thinking and authentic engagement
