The role

As AI Engineer at A.Engineer you will become part of an ambitious software engineering team who solve technically very difficult projects with cutting-edge AI and LLM technologies. We are on a journey to empower millions of engineers all over the world to design the environment we all are living in.

What you will be doing:

Plan and implement AI and LLM features end-to-end for our web platform

Ensure we utilize the right and most suitable LLM technologies, agentic tools and models to delight our users

Take ownership of our codebase, balancing high-quality code, Enterprise-grade security and speed of development

Work with technologies such as React, , Python, Azure cloud and latest LLM and agentic  technologies

As a pioneer, solve technological challenges, nobody in the AEC industry has not solved ever before.

The work is hybrid including some on-site work in one of our offices in London (United Kingdom), Stockholm (Sweden) or Gothenburg (Sweden). The right candidate can live in any country within the same time zone as our offices, as long as there is willingness to travel to the offices occasionally when needed.

Who you are:

Experienced software engineer and/or data scientist with 1+ year of experience building and evaluating AI and LLM applications

A natural born programmer

More of an "architect type" than a "vibe-coder" who can think holistically about applied agentic AI

Understanding the right balance between long-term planning security, performance and just "getting things done" mentality

Curious about new and emerging technologies and ready to learn those fast when needed

You're a self-starter yet team player and take pride in the code you write

Experience in complex agentic infrastructure, orchestration, evaluation stack and data integrations using MCPs are considered as an advantage
