Job Mission

As Head of Legal, you'll safeguard and accelerate Tibber's growth by building a scalable legal, privacy, and ESG foundation across our markets. As a growing scale-up, we need someone who can standardize contract playbooks and legal processes, establish board governance routines, map key risks, strengthen compliance training, and prepare the company for future corporate structuring and capital-markets readiness - all while developing a high-performing legal & compliance team. You will join our House of Business, report to our CFO, and will work from any of our listed offices in a flexible work setup.

What You'll Do

• Serve as principal legal advisor to the C-suite and partner cross-functionally to enable fast, compliant decision-making.
• Lead and grow a team covering legal, privacy, and ESG; set clear priorities and ways of working.
• Own contract standards and complex negotiations; streamline templates and lifecycle management.
• Act as Secretary to the Board (governance admin, minutes, corporate records) and manage corporate matters.
• Manage disputes and external counsel efficiently; focus on pragmatic, business-oriented outcomes.
• Design and roll out policies, training, and horizon scanning across privacy/ESG and other regulatory areas.
• Support M&A, corporate structuring, and capital-markets readiness initiatives.

What we're looking for

We believe that you are driven by impact and know how to turn strategy into execution. You're used to fast-paced environments and thrive when given clear goals and high accountability. Alongside of that, we believe you will have the following;

• Master of Law / Cand. Jur and 8+ years' experience, including privacy and/or ESG exposure, ideally from in-house or a leading firm.
• Proven international scope and risk/regulatory depth (corporate law, privacy, ESG; capital markets a plus).
• Clear, business-friendly communicator who influences executives and boards; solution-oriented and pragmatic.
• People leader with experience building/scaling legal or compliance teams in growth environments; fluent in English.
