Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Snowflake Technical Lead
to guide and oversee the development, design, and architectural aspects of data solutions within our Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Snowflake professionals and drive the successful end-to-end delivery of data pipelines, analytics solutions, dashboards, and reports. This role involves close collaboration with business and technical teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead the design, development, and architecture of Snowflake-based data solutions.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of data pipelines and analytics platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
  • Ensure best practices in Snowflake performance tuning, optimization, and efficient data modeling.

Agile Delivery & Governance

  • Drive Agile best practices across the entire data lifecycle, including:
  • Backlog grooming and prioritization
  • Sprint planning and execution
  • Release management
  • Continuous improvement
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment by facilitating clear communication and iterative delivery.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and mentor cross-functional teams including:
  • Data Engineers
  • BI Developers
  • Business Analysts
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of dashboards, KPIs, and analytical solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into actionable and scalable data architectures.

Strategic Contribution

  • Contribute to data strategy, solution roadmaps, and Snowflake platform enhancements.
  • Advocate for modern data engineering practices, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

Essential Skills

  • Strong expertise in Snowflake development, design, and architectural frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading Snowflake-focused data engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience in building and optimizing:
  • Data pipelines
  • Data models
  • ELT/ETL workflows
  • Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing principles, and cloud-based data ecosystems.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and multi-team coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
