Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden OSTTRA Full time 60,000 - 90,000 per year

About The Role
Join our Stockholm data team as a Data Analyst. This entry-level role is your chance to turn raw data into critical insights that guide decision-making across our entire organisation. You'll collaborate directly with Sales, Product Owners, and Senior Management and others, gaining exposure to a wide range of business functions.

You'll get hands-on with our modern data stack—think
GCP
,
BigQuery
,
DBT
, and
Airflow
—to build robust data solutions. This is more than just running queries; you'll help teams define their data needs and build the data models and
Looker
dashboards that answer their most pressing questions.

For a recent graduate, this is a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge, master in-demand technologies, and see your work make a tangible impact. We foster a collaborative environment where you'll be encouraged to learn, communicate effectively, and leverage our AI-assisted development workflow to enhance analysis and build solutions more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into data requirements.

  • Report and Dashboard Development:

  • Design, build, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports in Looker.

  • Iterate on and enhance existing reports based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

  • Data Modelling & Transformation:

  • Use DBT to transform, model, and test data within our data warehouse, preparing it for analysis.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Airflow managed data pipelines to ensure data is accurate, timely, and reliable.
  • Work with data engineers to improve data quality, consistency, and ingestion processes.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, present findings, and provide data-driven recommendations.

  • Clearly communicate complex insights and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Continuous Learning:

  • Stay curious and up-to-date with the latest trends in our tech stack (GCP, BigQuery, DBT, Looker) and the broader data analytics field.

  • Proactively seek opportunities for skill development and training, including leveraging our internal AI-assisted tools.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • A genuine eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in the data field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or academic project experience related to data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with a BI tool (like Looker, Power BI, etc.) from projects or internships.
  • Exposure to version control (e.g., Git) and cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Interest in financial markets.
