Large Capex Program Director

We are now offering an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in a growing and technologically advanced company As Large Capex Program Director, you will play a central part in leading and developing large investment projects within Nammo Sweden.

This role gives you chance to contribute to building a sustainable and secure future – for both our customers and employees.

About the role

In this role, you will lead the early phases of major investment projects (over 300 MSEK) within Nammo Sweden. You will be responsible for developing business rationales, conducting conceptual studies, and preparing investment applications in line with Nammo's established Large Capex process.

You will play a key role in securing resources, driving progress, and fostering collaboration between technical, financial, and operational functions. After project approval, you will hand over to the execution team but remain instrumental in developing and improving Nammo's Capex processes in Sweden.

Key responsibilities include:


• Lead and drive feasibility and concept phases for large Capex projects


• Develop business rationale, conduct conceptual studies, and prepare investment applications


• Ensure appropriate resources and project structures are in place


• Support, inform, and motivate project team members


• Manage risk and opportunity processes, including analysis and follow-up


• Represent Nammo Sweden in the Corporate Strategic Projects Group


• Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured and shared

You will report in solid line to the President of Nammo Sweden AB and in dotted line to the VP Strategic Projects at group level.

This is a full-time position based at one of Nammo's Swedish sites in Karlskoga, Karlsborg, Lindesberg, or Vingåker. The role involves regular travel between Nammo sites in Sweden and occasionally to other group locations.

Your profile

You are a driven and structured leader who thrives in complex environments and inspires through engagement. You communicate clearly, act decisively, and enjoy turning strategy into tangible results.

You hold a degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field, and preferably a PMP or equivalent certification. You are an experienced project manager and have probably also held roles where you have developed your leadership skills, preferably within production or infrastructure.

Experience from feasibility studies or large-scale investment projects of significant value and complexity is highly valued. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
