Job Description

Do you want to shape how customer data drives strategic decisions across some of the most forward-thinking fashion brands? 

At Portfolio Brands Central, you'll be part of a small and agile team building the data foundation that powers customer growth. You'll work hands-on with modern cloud technologies while influencing how data is used to personalize experiences, optimize marketing, and support business development across COS, Weekday, & Other Stories and ARKET. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

As a Data Engineer, you will: 

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrated data products across multiple brands. 
  • Develop and optimize data flows using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring secure and efficient data movement. 
  • Collaborate with CRM and marketing teams to enable personalized customer journeys and insights. 
  • Support the migration and enhancement of existing solutions, including real-time data integrations. 
  • Take ownership of data governance, security, and compliance within your solutions. 
  • Contribute to the strategic foundation of our data architecture and help shape how we grow with customer data. 
  • Enable data-driven insights by providing clean, structured, and well-documented datasets for experimentation and analytics. 

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH 

You'll be part of a small and collaborative data team belonging to a Customer Activation and Analytics Business function, working at the heart of our customer growth agenda. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with CRM and Marketing stakeholders from COS, Weekday, & Other Stories and ARKET, as well as tech specialists across the H&M Group. Together, we build scalable and secure data solutions that support all Portfolio Brands, enabling smarter decisions and more personalized customer experiences.

Qualifications

We are looking for people with… 

  • A few years of experience in building data pipelines and working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred). 
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Java, with experience using Python for data analysis or machine learning (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn) considered a plus. 
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques. 
  • Experience with Terraform and dbt. 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and a DevOps mindset. 
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices. 
  • Ability to translate data insights and technical solutions into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

This is a full time permanent contract based at our Head Office in Liljeholmen Stockholm
