Chief Engineer – Tissue Machines Services

Location: Karlstad (Sweden), Wroclaw (Poland)

As a Chief Engineer, you'll oversee engineering projects for Tissue machine modernizations, improvements and equipment deliveries, collaborating closely with Valmet stakeholders. Your role involves supporting sales & application, R&D, procurement, and site operations while focusing on project´s mechanical engineering. As a Chief Engineer, you'll handle layout, 3D modelling, and subcontractor supervision and in some projects also detail engineering if needed. This is a chance to demonstrate your skills and collaborate globally, showcasing your technical expertise and ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering

• Over five years of engineering experience

• Knowledge of tissue machines industry, processes and/or engineering seen as benefit

• Fluent in Polish and English; additional proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus

• Determined, self-reliant, with a passion for continuous improvement and global collaboration

• Strong teamwork, networking and communication skills

• Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies

• Willingness to travel 20-40 days annually within EU, and internationally
