Data Scientist – Gothenburg (Hybrid Remote)

We are looking for an experienced
Data Scientist
for a customer assignment in Gothenburg. The role is part of an analytical and data-driven team working with
data modeling, collection, and visualization
to support strategic planning and decision-making.

As a Data Scientist, you will work in a
cross-functional team
focused on
data analysis, modeling, machine learning, and reporting
. The position requires strong technical skills as well as the ability to translate data into insights that create tangible value for the organization.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role
  • Excellent proficiency in
    Python
    and relevant libraries such as
    pandas, scikit-learn,
    and
    NumPy
  • Experience in
    data management, analysis, and reporting
    in large organizations
  • Skilled in
    data visualization tools
    , e.g.
    Power BI
    or
    Tableau
  • Expertise in
    statistical modeling, predictive analytics, or machine learning
  • Ability to
    communicate technical results
    to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with
    SQL and database management
  • Proficiency in
    Swedish
    , both spoken and written

Merits

  • Previous experience working within the
    public sector
  • Knowledge of
    cloud platforms
    such as
    Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience working with
    large datasets
    or
    traffic/infrastructure data

Other Information

Employment requires Swedish Security Vetting.
