Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science and Analytics Products team at Truecaller. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimizing the training and deployment of machine learning models to ensure they are quick and cost-efficient. You will also be at the forefront of putting our ML models on mobile devices to enhance data privacy and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with teams across Truecaller to establish best practices and tools for efficient ML model development and deployment, particularly on mobile platforms.
- Work hands-on with teams to optimize ML models for mobile devices.
- Be the go-to expert for developing models for mobile devices as well as deploying them.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in ML Engineering, especially ML on mobile phones, and drive continuous innovation throughout Truecaller.
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on deploying ML models in production environments.
- Hands-on experience deploying ML models on mobile devices (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, ONNX Runtime Mobile).
- Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX) and their deployment on mobile platforms.
- Understanding of both Android and iOS development and how that impacts ML model deployment and usage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and disciplines.
