The university has a strong collaboration with industry and the public sector, providing a rich environment for research and innovation.
About the Departments
As a postdoc, you will be part of the Technology Management and Economics department, as well as the Mathematical Sciences department at Chalmers. You will collaborate with leading researchers focused on sustainable freight transport management and mathematical optimization modeling and methodology. Additionally, you will engage with our local networks, such as the Urban Freight Platform, Northern Lead, and Chalmers Transport Area of Advance, as well as various international networks.
Main Responsibilities
- You will conduct research on the opportunities of Big Data for freight transport by developing methods of analysis, providing insights to societies, and paving the way for further research in this area.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated researcher with strong quantitative foundations who is aiming to become a consolidated researcher. You must have a doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, Management, Economics, or similar subjects.
Contract Terms
This postdoc position is a full-time temporary employment for two/three years.
