Job Description

This field-based role is a Medical Advisor position within our Medical Affairs Nordic Department. As a key member of our team, you will cover the Northern part of Sweden (Greater Stockholm and north) and Finland. Your primary responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with key experts within Dermatology in these regions, executing the Nordic medical affairs plan, and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales, and market access teams.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the Nordic strategic scientific medical plan, interacting proactively and reactively with key external experts within Dermatology, and implementing scientific presentations, expert meetings, advisory boards, and/or assimilated activities across the Nordics.

In addition, you will plan and execute Nordic life-cycle activities through the implementation of global and/or local Phase IIb-IV, NIS (Non-interventional studies), IIS (Investigator-initiated studies) in close collaboration with top-tier experts in Dermatology, LEO's Global Scientific Affairs teams, and other relevant global functions.

You will also interact with key experts to ensure our products are adequately positioned in national/local guidelines and/or recommendations, work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, and represent the Medical Affairs and Nordic Strategic Team for the relevant product or Therapy Area.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

  1. A scientific or medical professional background, preferably with a Ph.D., MD, PharmD, Specialist Nurse, or Nurse degree.
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare sector or pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in clinical trials, running studies across Nordics, collaborating on projects, and engaging key stakeholders on disease state, population health, and patient care challenges.
  3. Proven ability to establish and grow relationships with key external experts and HCPs, uncover strategic insights and competitive intelligence through scientific exchanges and medical congress participation, and convey scientific and clinical data effectively through strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  4. A valid driver's license is required.
