About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Backend team at Axis Communications AB. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Video Management Software (VMS) product, Axis Camera Station Pro.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute short-term manual test needs in collaboration with the team.
  • Develop and host longer test sessions involving team members from different departments.
  • Participate in release testing for the complete solution.
  • Set up and maintain test environments for both automated and manual testing.
  • Develop automated tests for the technical area.
  • Contribute to improvement work in areas such as working methods, test strategy, automation, and test environments.
Requirements
  • Experience in software testing and knowledge of agile development methods.
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Programming skills in Python and/or C#.
  • Previous experience in testing at different levels, including manual and automated testing, functional and non-functional testing.
  • Knowledge of testing techniques, such as exploratory testing.
  • Strong interest in technology and ability to cooperate and communicate effectively with team members.
