About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Improvin', you will play a crucial role in developing a cutting-edge platform that enables companies in the food industry to reduce their environmental impact. To succeed in this position, you will need a strong understanding of our mission and a passion for building data-driven solutions.

With extensive experience in machine learning, particularly in computer vision and remote sensing, you will design and implement innovative data processing pipelines, storage solutions, and databases. Your expertise will enable us to leverage machine learning models to predict yields and detect field boundaries and crop types.

How You Make Impact
  • Develop and maintain data-focused products and machine learning models with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Design and implement efficient data processing pipelines, storage solutions, and databases that meet the needs of our users.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data platform issues, implementing solutions to prevent future problems and ensure seamless operations.
  • Own and implement data security and privacy policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a shared technical vision and deliver exceptional results.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation.
  • Foster open communication with stakeholders, understanding their data needs and delivering tailored solutions.
We Believe You Have
  • A proven track record of developing high-quality, data-driven products and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, and data engineering, or a technical leadership role (e.g., Tech Lead).
  • Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions, orchestration, and containers, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
