Head of Technology

We're seeking an experienced technology leader to join our fast-growing engineering team as Head of Technology. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for project leadership, team leadership, and one studio leadership.

**Project Leadership**:
* You will have shared responsibility across all of our projects, ensuring they are scoped, architected, and executed by our technical members.
* You'll be responsible for staffing our projects with the right people, weighing individual expertise and experience against project needs and budgets.
* You'll participate in new business development activities, including scoping technical work and teaming shapes, pitching to clients, and working on contractual details for delivery and scope.
* You'll be hands-on to varying degrees, depending on the project, and provide technical oversight once projects are running.

**Team Leadership**:
* This role has a heavy component of team leadership, team direction, and thought leadership.
* You'll lead a team of senior members, setting the tone for line management, growth goals, and progression across the team.
* You'll ensure our engineering team's health, fostering a sense of community, camaraderie, shared learning, innovation, and collaboration.

**One Studio Leadership**:
* You'll be part of our studio team, determining how we position our offering to the market and who and what we should hire.
* You'll work closely with our Executive Leadership Team, influencing what skills we should grow and how we publicly talk about our work.
* You'll help determine the types of work we pursue and lead new business development, giving you an important voice in the type of work we do and how we deliver to our clients.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with solid software development fundamentals, a working understanding of modern software architecture, and a proven track record of increasing responsibility. You'll be a clear, confident communicator, able to convey ideas to diverse stakeholders. You'll have experience leading delivery of software projects, leading technical teams, and emerging as an engineering leader.
