About the Role

This role involves being part of a test team working on Door, Locking and Alarm verification and validation activities. As a software tester, your primary responsibility will be to perform fault tracing, write test cases, and document trace and coverage analysis mainly on the VCU node. Additionally, you will be required to write test scripts for automation of test cases for other components and systems in the same domain.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Define test system flow by determining test activities, equipment, asset under test, and DUT preparedness with requirement owner and suppliers.
  2. Verify VCU components through different types of testing including black and white box testing, acceptance testing, and regression testing on deliverables from suppliers.
  3. Automate test cases in vTestStudio for component/domain and complete testing in bench rigs, HIL, and on vehicles.
  4. Create and maintain automation test frameworks in Python and C++.
  5. Develop test methods and test cases in Carweaver and plan and coordinate test activities with the rest of the team.
  6. Generate fault reports and assign them to receivers for investigation and solution provision.
  7. Analyze logs and measurements independently on the component and actuators and signals.
  8. Work collaboratively with developers to analyze logs to identify faults.
  9. Evaluate if the work is delivered as per specified acceptance criteria and definition.
