Job DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Visiting Research Economist for a period of up to twelve months, with a starting date around September 2025. As a Research Economist, you will conduct research in areas of importance to central banking, aiming to publish papers in well-established academic journals. You will also provide support and advice to policy departments and the Riksbank Executive Board. The Research Division hosts international seminars, organises conferences, and has an active visitors' program.
Required Skills and QualificationsCandidates should have expertise in monetary economics, macroeconomics, econometrics, financial markets, financial stability, banking, or payments. Senior researchers require at least three years' experience and a solid publication record. Junior candidates need to have obtained a PhD in economics, statistics, or finance, or be close to completing their degree. They must demonstrate the ability to present complex issues effectively and communicate research results to policymakers.
