Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting weekly and monthly Status sales reporting for Hexagon Metrology Nordics.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, including disclosure forms, and OneStream reporting.
  • Performing analytical review of the financial results on a monthly basis.
  • Managing IFRS Leasing Reporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations/recharges.
  • Ensuring local statutory reporting and audits are completed in a timely manner.
  • Developing and implementing procedures to meet local reporting obligations, including VAT, Social costs, EU sales reports, Intrastat, Statistical reports, and tax returns.
  • Maintaining hands-on control of accounting functions.
  • Supporting forecasting and FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) to inform financial decision-making and budgeting processes.
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on mentality and ownership responsibility since only a few tasks can be delegated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish good working relationships across the Group.
  • Ideal candidate would have some experience with Sweden's local tax regulations, but training will be provided.
